Apple's Stock Price

I won't bother with links here, EVERYBODY is talking about Apple's stock price.

One side says.... iPhone sales are going great.  The other side points to iPhone 5 order reductions (specifically iPhone 5 screens) saying sales are poor. There is much screaming and gnashing of teeth.

What amazes me is that I feel the answer is actually quite obvious.

In this article, I told how on Amazon, 4th generation iPad sales severely lagged iPad 2 and iPad mini sales throughout the holiday season. While I did not collect the data for iPhones like I did the iPads, it was clear that many places had great deals on the iPhone 4 and 4S. I suspect the order reductions simply means that Apple sold less iPhone 5s than expected but still sold lots of iPhones, just the mix contained more older phones than they anticipated.
